A Coventry love story | Sangeeta and Humpdeep’s wedding
Last year I had the privilege of documenting a beautiful civil ceremony and reception for Sangeeta and Humpdeep in Coventry. It was a celebration filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

I arrived at Sangeeta's early that morning. All was calm, there was laughter and a quiet sense of anticipation in the air.
Outside the Coventry Registry Office, guests started to gather, all dressed up in their best. There was a buzz in the air, quiet chats, bits of laughter, and that excited energy you get before something big.
There was so much emotion in the room. It wasn’t just about the couple, it was about the community they’d built, standing with them in that moment.
As the ceremony wrapped up and the cheers faded into clapping, Sangeeta and Humdeep slipped away for a quiet moment, just the two of them. Then, hand in hand, they stepped back out and boom! confetti everywhere! The air exploded with colour, people cheering, laughing, celebrating them in the best kind of chaos.
After the ceremony, we wandered through the beautiful ruins of Coventry Cathedral. The soaring stone arches, weathered walls, and quiet stillness created a powerful backdrop for their portraits. Laughing, holding hands, occasionally pausing to take it all in.
The evening was a celebration not just of a couple, but of two families coming together, with every beat, every bite, and every burst of laughter capturing that spirit perfectly.
